Reseña:
AKHERON nace el 1° de mayo de 2011 en la ciudad de Bogotá/Colombia, Se empieza a trabajar con la formación: Julie Gómez (Bajo), Juan Guerra (Voz & Guitarra), Luis Galeano (Batería). Con esta formación se graba el primer Demo titulado “SER O NO SER… IRRACIONAL”. Luego en este mismo año ingresa a la banda el guitarrista Jonathan Jimenez; En el año 2012 la agrupación participa en el compilado “Alianza de Sangre & Guerra”. En el año 2013 se lanza el álbum debut “PESADILLAS” en formato CD el cual obtuvo gran acogida; Para el año 2014 es re-editado en formato Tape el album “PESADILLAS” por los sellos Underworld Records e Imperioculto Producciones el cual se agotó en poco tiempo.

En el año 2015 la banda lanza bajo el sello Colombo-Canadiense “Viuda Negra Music” el split “COALITION OF DEATH” acompañados por la banda centroamericana “CONCEIVED BY HATE” en formato digipack, este álbum tiene también su edición para centro-américa bajo el sello Morbid Skull Records” en formato CD.

Para el año 2017 es lanzado su mas reciente full-length “CONCLAVE DE LA BESTIA” en formato CD, nuevamente bajo el sello “Viuda Negra Music”.

La tematica de la banda se basa en el existencialismo, la degradación humana mental y su obsesión por el territorio , guerras y demás aberraciones de la vida diaria.
